If I could give ZERO stars, I would.

April 14, 2018 I had a new patient "intake" appt. which I attended. The woman who met with me and took my patient history info was kind, professional and the appt. was fine. She asked if I had another appt. already booked and I said yes, which she confirmed was scheduled for the following Tuesday, 4/17.

The day before my intake appt., my mother passed away (4/13). I had that new patient appt. with Dr. Chaudry for the following Tuesday, 4/17. Fearing I wouldn't be able to get another appointment for weeks or months, I kept my 4/17 appt. and postponed leaving town for my dead mom.

On 4/17 I arrived early to my appt with Dr. Chaudry and checked in. At 30 minutes past my appointment time, I was called to the desk and told I didn't have an appointment, the office had overbooked, Dr. Chaudry wasn't in the office to see me, and there was no one else who could see me that day. No one had called to tell me beforehand nor to confirm my appointment I had made weeks prior. I rescheduled for 5/4, when I'd be back in town.

I did meet with Dr. Chaudry on 5/4. Half-way through my ~6 minute visit in his office, he interrupted my appt. to answer his cell phone. He seemed in a hurry to leave the office and dismissive of my health concerns. He informed me I would be seeing a different doctor for follow-up care, which I agreed to, hoping for a better experience with another professional. I didn't feel he and I would be a "good match" but shrugged off the experience as maybe it just wasn't a good visit. He did provide me with a prescription that I needed, and I am happy he did so.

The following Wednesday I had an appt. with a counselor, Lillian Lambert, at 5pm. The evening before, I received a call to confirm my appt. and I confirmed I would be there. I arrived at 4:54 pm and checked in, and paid my co-pay. At 5:28, an employee who was leaving for the day saw me in the waiting room and asked if I had been checked in and who I was there to see. I told her yes, I checked in, and I was there to see Lillian. She informed me Lillian was running late with her previous appt. but would be out to get me soon.

At 5:45 I went to the window to call out to anyone from the practice who might still be there. The receptionist had left at 5:01. There were workers there who were working on the office remodel who came to the window to tell me no, no doctors or staff were left and to check the other side of the office around the other side of the building.

I went to the other side of the office and thankfully 2 young women were still at the back desk. I told them I had been waiting, my appt. was at 5, it was now past 5:45, I had arrived 5 minutes early to check-in, and still hadn't been seen. Now no one was there to see me for my appt. I asked for my $65 copay to be refunded.

Both women were kind and apologetic. They checked Lillian's office to confirm, yes- she really did leave. I told them about my appt. cancellation from 4/17 that no one had told me about until I'd already been there in the waiting room til 30 mins past my appt. time. This was the 2nd screw up in less than a month.

I did receive a full refund of my co-pay, which I am thankful they made that easy for me instead of having to call in the morning to start an electronic refund process, as I had paid with my debit card.

I did comment to the women at the desk that this is a psychiatry practice, and to screw up like this with people who are trying to get help for psychiatric issues is unacceptable. They asked if I wanted to reschedule. There is no way in hell I'd ever go back there.

I strongly urge other new patients to find another practice in their network.

Solace was recommended to me by my employer as part of my EAP program. When I called, the woman who answered the phone was rude and acted like she didn't have time to speak with me. She put me on hold and then a second woman asked me again why I was calling. When I informed her I was referred to their center, she rudely expressed they no longer provide those services any longer. My father passed away three weeks ago and this was not the warm/empathetic customer service I had hoped to receive from a counseling center.
